Cookies
A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device so it can remember a fact, such as whether you accepted analytics. This page explains what Service Wirecore uses. The privacy notice explains how we treat personal information more generally.
Types we use
Essential cookies (or local storage entries) remember your Accept or Reject choice so the banner does not harass you on every page of a hex folio visit. Analytics cookies run only if you Accept; they help us see which field notes are read, not who you are as a collector. Rejecting analytics does not block sourcing briefs, rates, or the folio map.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| serviceWirecore_cookieConsent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until you clear storage, or 12 months in practice before we may ask again | Service Wirecore (localStorage) |
| sw_analytics | Counts page visits to field notes and commission pages if you accept | 6 months | Service Wirecore |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear site data in your browser, which forgets the choice and will show the banner again. Browser settings can block cookies entirely; the site still renders the folio, legal pages, and contact form.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts are requested from Google Fonts. That request may allow Google to see your IP address. We do not embed dealer storefronts or grading-company widgets. Images load from public image hosts; those hosts may set their own cookies if you interact with their domains directly, which you do not need to do to read this site.
If you disable cookies
The banner may return. Optional visit counts will not run. Sending a brief, reading House of M numbering notes, and viewing rates continue to work.
